Register to the NOESIS Big Data in Transport Library (https://noesis-project.eu/survey/register.php)

If you register to the NOESIS Big Data in Transport Library, we process the data you have provided in the forms.  Furthermore, we generate a unique user ID once you register and store a timestamp for every data submission.

The purpose of processing this types of data is to manage your registration and for submitting use cases.

Sign up to our newsletter

When you sign up to our newsletter we process the following categories of your personal data on the basis of your consent according to Article 6 (1)(a) GDPR:

When you sign up to our newsletter, your data will be stored on servers in the USA. MailChimp has certified to the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and we have a data-processing agreement with them. Get in contact with us

When you get in contact with us, we process personal data which you provided to us on a voluntary basis (e.g. email address, telephone number, …). The purpose for processing and the legitimate interest is to establish contact with you. Thus, the legal basis for processing the data is Article 6 (1)(f) GDPR.

Share of information collected

We do not share personal data with any other controllers.

The NOESIS website may share contact personal information within the Consortium to send you emails for specific dissemination purposes. All such parties are prohibited from using your personal information except for dissemination’s purposes regarding NOESIS, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

The NOESIS website will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law.

Plugins

We use the following Plugin only on our main website. Within the NOESIS Big Data in Transport Library micro website (https://noesis-project.eu/survey/), we do not use plugins at all.

Google Analytics & Google Fonts & other Plugins

We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of our website. Google Analytics gathers information about website use by means of cookies. The information gathered relating to our website is used to create reports about the use of our website.

This website uses Google Web Fonts. Google may receive your IP address for technical reasons. On the basis of your IP address Google may determine which websites you visited.

We use Fetch Tweets plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/fetch-tweets/) to display the latest tweets from the NOESIS twitter account (https://twitter.com/noesisproject).

We use these plugins on the basis of our prevailing legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) which is a uniform representation of fonts on our website, to create usage statistics and to provide our Tweets on our website.

Storage and deletion of personal information collected

Log Data are usually deleted within Xdays.

If you become a registered NOESIS Big Data in Transport library member, your personal data is stored as long as you are a registered.

All Personal data processed while establishing contact will be deleted, once your concern has been adequately addressed and in our opinion, no further communication with you is necessary.

You can unsubscribe from our contact list and/or request for your personal data to be deleted at any time by opting for unsubscribe in the e-mails or/and e-newsletters that you receive from us, or by directly contacting us (e-mail: dpo@noesis-project.eu).

A longer storage as specified may be required due to a specific reason (e.g. there was an attack on our webserver, legal claims, …)

Your rights

At any time, you can require information on the processing of your personal data, obtain updating, correction, removal, cancellation or blocking of data. You have the right to data portability, to withdraw your consent and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
